Promoting Women in Building Performance
& Growing the Industry
A recent industry survey told us what we already know: 87% of the industry is male. We hope to change this statistic by making it easier for women to enter the building performance workforce. Most purchasing decisions in the home are made by women. We want to create a collaborative network of women in the building performance industry that provides eased entry into the market. This includes consistent outreach to young women, a support system for burgeoning business owners, and a better balance of diversity in the home performance industry.
